I began my self development journey back in late 2017, and the beginning of 2018. I humbled myself, had to step away from my ego, and learn from success. Here is what I learned that: a lot of mastery in life comes from having control over your state. You can be at the cause of your own emotions by developing certain disciplines.

I started blogging over a year ago, and quickly realized I am making some critical mindset shifts from my writing. I am by no means an expert writer, I am FAR FROM IT. However, I am getting better sharing my message!

When you feel the progress, you get a surge of positive emotions.

I think of blogging as a public journal with a slight more bit of direction. As a video editor, you are telling stories with videos, pictures, words, and sometimes even text… Sounds similar to blogging, doesn’t it!?

THE CROSSOVER WAS AWESOME WHEN I DISCOVERED IT!

The best part about it is that I can share my thoughts, skill sets, concepts, and information that is useful to me.

IN MY MIND, BLOGGING SERVES MULTIPLE PURPOSES:

  • GAIN TRAFFIC TO YOUR WEBSITE
  • BUILD A FOLLOWING OVERTIME
  • YOU CAN SHARE INDUSTRY INSIGHTS ABOUT YOUR NICHE
  • HAVE SOLUTIONS AND ANSWERS TO QUESTIONS
  • BENEFICIAL FOR WORKING ON YOURSELF, AS WELL AS HOW YOU PRESENT YOURSELF
  • A PLACE FOR LIFE REFLECTION
  • MARKETING YOUR PRODUCTS OR SERVICES

IT WILL ONLY CLICK ONCE YOU GET THE BALL ROLLING:

Like many pursuits, learning from others is always great, but actually doing it yourself makes all the difference.

I had many reservations about doing this at first. I was concerned what people would think; how would they interpret it? what topics do I write about? Is it even relatable? These are all the questions I had, but they were really just excuses. The truth is when you start doing it, insights tend to miraculously come to you.

IDEAS JUST START TO COME TO YOU OUT OF THIN AIR

When you share the energy of your passion, it comes through in a powerful and attractive way that makes people drawn to it. Sometimes it’s good to have a little faith in the process of your niche or subject matter. The people who are meant to be there on your blog site, will be happy to stay, and eventually come back!

If you have a career or area of interest you really enjoy, why not talk about!

Lets say you love surfing the best beaches of the world – and been doing it for 10 years – do you think in the 10 years you been riding waves that you have at least a few mindsets/styles that would be beneficial to someone just starting? The answer is a OBVIOUS… YES

DON’T HOLD BACK BECAUSE YOUR PERSPECTIVE HAS MASSIVE UNIQUE VALUE TO YOUR READERS.

By doing your first couple posts … You will get in momentum and words will just start to magically flow out of your mind onto your screen. You will reach into yourself and see those beliefs you had about doing this, was all in your head! How do I know this? Cause this happened to me, and I want the best for you!

MAKE THIS INTO A HABIT!

Like any other skills, if we want to get good then we must practice. DON’T STOP POSTING. Have fun experimenting with different types of posts! This is what I am doing right now.

With all the benefits; if you want to work on yourself while sharing content, there is tons of upsides.
